Dr Lana Leslie

Dr Lana Leslie is the Managing Director of Gunnedah Hill Business Solutions. Gunnedah Hill is a management consultancy with a focus on professional development, reconciliation, and business development. Lana’s career includes Board and Chief Executive experience, senior leadership roles and academic appointments. She has presented at national and international conferences in Aboriginal health and physical activity and has authored works in topics including Aboriginal physical activity and research.
Lana is the Chair of the Leadership Development Community Committee in the International Leadership Association. She is also the co- lead for the Indigenous and First Peoples Leadership stream for the International Leadership Association Global Conference in Chicago in November 2024.
She has a PhD in Human Geography in Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, a Master of Social Science, a Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion (Social and Emotional Wellbeing) and a Bachelor of Social Science. Lana works to advance reconciliation, provide education and promote and advance leadership excellence.

Brett Groves is a Wiradjuri born man who has the privilege of working and living on Dharug and Gundungurra land. After calling Dharug country home for a time has now returned to his birth place Wiradjuri country.

Otto brings a wealth of experience and expertise, with a solid background in the Australian Public Service and a remarkable tenure of nearly 20 years in the not-for-profit/for-purpose sector, serving as both CEO and as non-executive board member and chair. Throughout his career, Otto has been dedicated to empowering individuals to enhance their capabilities and embrace new opportunities. Otto also brings an extensive knowledge of the faith-based not-for-profit sector and its intricacies, having worked in faith-based NFPs at the executive, CEO, and Board levels.
Otto holds a Graduate Certificate in Business and a Master of Business Administration (with Distinction) from Western Sydney University. He is pursuing a PhD in NFP leadership at the University of New England, further augmenting his expertise in the field. Additionally, Otto serves as the Vice-Chair (Research) of the Leadership Development Community in the International Leadership Association (ILA), reflecting his commitment to advancing leadership practices.
Otto has presented at conferences and co-authored a book chapter on Indigenous engagement with the NDIS. Upholding professional standards, Otto is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of both the Governance Institute of Australia and the Institute of Managers and Leaders. In addition, he is a member of several national and international professional bodies.
